What made you want to be a recruiter?

I love meeting new people, learning about their interests, and helping them with finding their dream job. I thrive on relationship-building, and as a recruiter I have the opportunity to establish new relationships on a daily basis. 

What advice do you have for new employees in their first week at work?

Don’t be shy. Several individuals will introduce themselves to you and welcome you during your first week at Basin. I have never felt so welcomed during my first week at a new employer than I did at Basin.

Basin Electric promotes a total lifestyle approach to employee wellness. Basin has on-site clinics with a doctor and nurses on staff who are available for office visits and through video chats. To promote employee wellness, Basin Electric provides blood screenings, flu shots, fitness facilities, on-site clinics, and wellness and health education programs.

What made you want to be a recruiter?

I wanted to become a recruiter because of the personal interaction that you have with applicants. I love to meet new people and get to know them, and being a recruiter gives me the opportunity to do that.

What advice do you have for job applicants?

My best advice is to double check everything that you submit. Having the correct information on a document is crucial, and double-checking everything should ensure that all your information is correct.

What is your favorite benefit of working at Basin Electric?

My favorite benefit of working at Basin Electric is the people that I work with. Since starting at Basin Electric everybody has been very kind and welcoming.
