MTR's project had three large concrete pours from Sept. 13-15: 455 cubic yards, or 46 trucks, on day one; 715 cubic yards, or 72 trucks, on day two; and 700 cubic yards, or 70 trucks, on day three.
After the large pad that was poured cures for approximately 7-10 days, MTR will begin setting equipment on the pad.
A combined 1,870 cubic yards, or 188 truckloads of concrete, were recently poured for MTR's project.
MTR is on schedule to have construction complete late spring of 2024. Commissioning will be held during the summer, and testing will begin in the fall of 2024. Testing is set to conclude by the end of summer 2025.
