2024 Basin Electric Annual Meeting: know before you go

Before you attend Basin Electric’s 2024 Annual Meeting of the Membership Meeting on Aug. 13-14, here are a few helpful reminders. 

TOURS

As part of the Annual Meeting, we are offering two tour opportunities:

PRE-ANNUAL MEETING RECEPTION

This year’s reception will be held Aug. 13 from 6-9 p.m. at Basin Electric Headquarters, located at 1717 East Interstate Ave., Bismarck, North Dakota. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.

SHUTTLES FOR THE RECEPTION

Shuttles will run continuously between Basin Electric Headquarters and scheduled hotels. Visit our shuttle schedule page for more information. Parking will also be available for guests on the west side of the building. Please use the west parking lot entrance.

REGISTRATION

Prior to the meeting, be sure to check in at the registration desk to pick up your name badge and registration packet. Registration will open at 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 14. The registration desk is located in the lobby area of the Bismarck Event Center exhibit hall.  

MEETING

The meeting will be held at the Bismarck Event Center in the exhibit hall, located at 315 5th St., Bismarck, North Dakota.

A full-day meeting will convene Aug. 14 at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m. A social and banquet will follow beginning at 6 p.m.

Alex Epstein will deliver the keynote address. Epstein is a philosopher and energy expert who argues that “human flourishing” should be the guiding principle of energy and environmental progress. 

SHUTTLES FOR THE MEETING

The shuttles will pick up and drop guests off at the Event Center's entrance on 5th Street at no charge. Visit our shuttle schedule page on basinelectric.com.

Parking will be available for guests on the west and south side of the Bismarck Event Center. Please use the E42 entrance doors on the west side.

MEMBERS-ONLY MEETING

Following the Annual Meeting, a Members-Only Meeting will be held the morning of Aug. 15. The meeting will convene at 8 a.m. and will conclude at approximately noon. It will be a closed-door session for member directors, member managers, and member staff. Registration is required.
